Arnie met Phil Wistrom in the early 90s when Phil was a chemical representative that called upon Gibson Station. Phil has usually lived in Louisville, although he grew up in Iowa and attended college there. His nickname "skilch" is from his college golfing days - he is quite a golfer and his son is following in his footprints.
Phil is to blame for Arnie getting into flyfishing. He gave Arnie a fly rod many years ago and then taught him the basics. He and Arnie meet in the Hoosier National Forest at least twice a year for turkey/deer hunting.
He is shown above, pointing to his many logos on the back of his SUV. His "McConnell for Senate" and "******/Palin" stickers prove that he is company worth keeping.
