Arnie and Scruffy take a break (notice the two pretty big stumps!)
The chainsaw isn't working right now and Arnie was itching for some exercise anyway, so he bought a new axe at Rural King today. He and Betsy went back in the back thicket to cut out some trash trees to give the oaks, poplars, and cherries some room to grow. Skeet, Casey, and Scruffy went along, and there was even a coon up in a nest watching them whack at trees. Arnie said they chopped down about five hundred or so good size trees in the hour they were back there. Betsy said it was more like five.
Betsy's first tree took a while...
