Betsy fires one up from the corner - look at the height on that 6th grade jumpshot!
Betsy had her first 6th grade game last night at Lowell South. They beat Boonville badly, but that is the norm for this team. Arnie coaches them in travel season and Mark Williams coached them last year in school season. They were undefeated last year and stand 1-0 this year.
Icea Jenkins coaches them now and she has done something that neither Arnie nor Mark could do - she has brought Betsy out of her timid shell. Betsy was on the floor after loose balls and chasing rebounds. She didn't get any of her patented long jump shots to fall, but she looked to be having a lot of fun. Arnie has always said she has the potential if she would just decide to play.
