Casey rarely has ticks. That is because Skeet meticulously picks them off of her on a daily basis. (She never eats them - she spits them onto the ground and then goes after more.) Unfortunately for Skeet, neither Casey nor the other dogs reciprocate. At least we only have to buy tick-repelling treatment for one dog.
This year is shaping up to be a very bad tick year if early indications are right.
