Our two rhubarb plants had not increased in size in three years, so dad finally divided them earlier this spring. He split each into about 5 pieces and re-planted in one of the raised beds. All plants are thriving, but we may not be able to pick any of it this year since they were divided into small pieces. It will be worth it though, since each plant will have more room to grow and yields will be higher in future years.
