Abbey ran away with the 800 in the cold and wind against Perry Central and Heritage Hills. Her time is improving by about 6 seconds per meet, which is more than we had hoped for after her knee surgery and six months of inactivity. She is down to 2:38, about 15 seconds slower than her best time last year.
Kaebra LaGrange, the youngest daughter of dad's college teammate and groomsman John LaGrange also ran the 800 (and placed third), but she was hampered by a stress fracture and ran the race in pain. She's a scrapper like her dad.
