It doesn't take long for bleeding hearts to grow and bloom. This one is about 14 years old. We bought it at DeBord's Nursery in Princeton when Abbey was 3 years old and insisted that we get it. We planted it at our house on State Street in Princeton, then brought it out with us to the farm. We've moved it twice here and it has finally begun thriving. Betsy has one that we bought for her at the same age also. It is planted at the other end of this concrete bench (which Mom got for Mother's Day around 1995).
