Walking home before the storm - notice Skeet's butt to the right :)
The Schafer's let us pick from their asparagus patch while we wait on ours to mature enough for picking. They don't eat it themselves and only pick a small amount to give to their parents. It was planted many years ago by the Dillons, our old neighbors.
Mom and Betsy picked one last batch last night and they cooked it up in a Chinese dish for supper. Dad took some pictures of them walking home with nearby storm clouds in the background.
