Life gets in the way. The garden fence (in the background) has been under construction since early spring, but for good reason. The rains prevented work, and then it was important to get the garden in the ground before it got too late. Then, Abbey had her injury/surgery and then it was time to harvest & put up veggies. In the foreground, you can see how the lawn looked in early September. It is very green now, although it is a little thin. Arnie will apply some nitrogen to it within a week and it should begin to look normal. The family's goal is to have the garden fence complete by winter. (If the camara lens were wider, you'd see even more unfinished projects!)
