Four wheelin' with friends

Garry, Linda, and Dusty Russell came over to ride their new ATV around the bottoms, so Abbey and Betsy gave them a tour of the back trails and took them down through the bottoms and to Bulldog Bridge. In the picture above, you can see Millie (the yorkie-poo) leading the way. Arnie worries that she will get run over, but she loves going so much that we let her.

Everyone gathered back at the pole barn afterward, where Garry and Arnie engineered a design for an overhead boom for deer processing. It's really cool how Arnie uses a walnut or golf ball to skin his deer. This year he'll be able to do it indoors out of the weather with Garry's engineering help. When the engineering was complete, all went inside for a piece of Dusty's chocolate pecan pie and Kelley's green tomato pie - both warmed up with ice cream, of course.
