You've got to be willing to try some odd foods if you live in our house. Betsy had a friend over the other night and she got offered squirrel wings and french vanilla persimmon pie. (She passed.) Mom and dad went to The Feed Mill in Poseyville the other night and dad got mom to try some gator and crawdad. They had eaten enough hors d'ouvers at the wine & art show there, so all they needed to order for dinner was the swamp plate appetizer. It was edible, but none of us are used to eating fried foods around here...
