Betsy posed in her halloween costume before going over to Mackenzie Bruce's house for trick or treating. We thought it would be appropriate to get her picture in front of one of our favorite white trash TV shows - World's Dumbest Criminals.

Why do we blog so much?
We've always kept a journal, but to read the journal meant that you had to be on a certain computer. In September, 2009, we began using this blog so that friends and family can read it too. The best part though, is that at the end of the year, we can have a book made of the year's posts and the kids will appreciate it (finally) when they are our age!
We're a family of four living above the Patoka "Log on Bottom" River in Gibson County, IN.
We grow a large garden, make maple syrup, and raise a host of pets and farm animals, currently including Lucy, Casey, and Skeet (dogs), Pumpkin (cat), Minnie & Sadie (goats) and 20+ chickens.
