Davidson Cemetery

The gate and fence at the cemetery

One of the other stops for dad and Betsy the other night was Davidson Cemetery over by Vincent-Phillips. Ancestors of Barry Davidson, a high school classmate of dad's, are buried there. There is a long maple tree-lined drive leading up to the cemetery, and around the corner (out of view from the road) is the original concrete-fenced portion of the cemetery. Dad took these photos while Betsy read all of the tombstones, including that of Jonathon Conger, a courier for George Rogers Clark in the Revolutionary War.
