We bought some old fashioned cleaning agents at Rural King Wednesday and made an attempt at homemade laundry detergent. We had to let it gel for 24 hours and then mom tried it out. The clothes seemed plenty clean, but lacked a scent (mom insists on a scent). We'll add some essential oil to it so that she will accept it - the book says orange works well. Stay tuned...
