With 18 tomato plants, it was just a matter of time before the hornworms landed in. The first day we found them, there were 21. Since then, we've picked off 3-5 per day. If you don't stay on top of them, they will really ruin a bunch of plants.
Fish don't much like them either. The 21 were still untouched an hour after being tossed into the shallow water in the pond.
