Another cell phone date night portrait :)
Mom and dad went to the Chicken Place last night for date night. They had not been there in 26 years - not since Grandma & Grandpa Howes's 25th Anniversary dinner. They said it was OK, but it was not full like it used to be, and the tavern across the street had more cars. Someone said that it had changed ownership and had gone down hill.
The waitress saw dad's name on the debit card and asked him if his dad used to play basketball at Pike Central. He said no, but he did - the waitress was the wife of his freshman basketball coach (Kenny Lienenbach) that he had not seen in over 30 years.
