Here's one more senior picture that was taken in the yard the other day. Dad is just shooting some whenever Abbey is around and whenever he's in the mood to do it. Scruffy wasn't in the mood.

Why do we blog so much?
We've always kept a journal, but to read the journal meant that you had to be on a certain computer. In September, 2009, we began using this blog so that friends and family can read it too. The best part though, is that at the end of the year, we can have a book made of the year's posts and the kids will appreciate it (finally) when they are our age!
About Us
- The Howes Family
- We're a family of four living above the Patoka "Log on Bottom" River in Gibson County, IN. We grow a large garden, make maple syrup, and raise a host of pets and farm animals, currently including Lucy, Casey, and Skeet (dogs), Pumpkin (cat), Minnie & Sadie (goats) and 20+ chickens.
