When the bright days of spring finally arrive, it's time to cut back the winter skeletons of several landscaping plants. Plants like this that you'll find around our place are ornamental grasses and butterfly bushes. In order to get the most summer blooms from the butterfly bushes, it is important to radically prune them early.
The bushes live up to their name, attracting many types of butterflies when the purple flowers are in bloom. We probably have 25 of these in various places on the hill.
