Mom and dad took their first short ride of the year last night. They rode into town and back, a trip of about 11 miles total (with a lot of hills). Dad is in the market for a new bike because his is 19 years old. It has been showing its age for a long time, but now it is having a lot of mechanical problems. His rear derailleur is only moving through a couple of gears now. Notice the seat that has lost its covering and the electrical tape that covers the handlebars!
