It was very short-lived, but we experienced some spring weather yesterday. Today it is cold, gray, cloudy, and windy. The goats were napping in the warm sunshine and the chickens were searching for early bugs in the crabgrass. The lack of early green fescue in the pen is a sign that the crabgrass has completely taken over and that it will need to be restored this fall. Oh joy...
