Abbey and Arnie cut, split, and stacked a lot of wood this weekend. They worked at finishing the big cherry tree that fell across the fence on the mid-west border with Chapmans', and cut/split a downed ash tree down in the creek near the same spot. Since the hiking trails aren't yet cleared in that area, the wood has to be carried up the hill to a pick-up location. It is very good exercise, but we'll stay toasty warm next winter because of it.
