We've not posted anything this week because it has been very boring around here. It's too cold to get outside without serious winter clothing, and it gets dark too early to be worth putting winter clothing on for. Our second or third arctic blast came down this week and temperatures have been near zero. We've not seen a temperature above freezing for over a week.
We got a little snow last night - just enough to ice over on the roads when it got packed down. We didn't think it was that bad, but school was called off anyway. Abbey was up and around some, but Betsy just laid on the couch and stayed under the blanket most of the day. She did get up and help clean house some in the evening, though.
