Clash of the unbeatens

Arnie's college coach - Charlie Trafton - finishes
joking with Betsy and prepares to start the game

The sixth graders traveled to Newburgh to play their old nemesis, Castle last night. It was the first competitive game for the girls all year. After a tight start, the girls ran away to a 23-8 win, marking the first loss for the Castle girls. It was the first time a team has come within 25 points of Princeton. The B team also won handily, winning 37-7.
At every break, Arnie chatted with one of the officials - Charlie Trafton - who was his coach at OCC. Charlie is quite the comedian and had the coaches and girls chuckling all night. Several humorous old stories were told.
