Wrens and rabbits

Last week's post about the "abandoned" birdhouse, turned out to be pre-mature. During an inspection of the garden yesterday, it was discovered that a momma wren had in fact, built a nest and layed eggs in the unsecured birdhouse. Dad quickly drove some nails into the post to secure the house and the wren family has been saved. On a side note, a rabbit has set up housekeeping in the hostas beside the cabin. Boscoe cannot get healed fast enough. Our beans will probably begin showing damage soon if he doesn't.
