Abbey and Kevin gave dad a gift certificate for Applebee's so that they would get out of the house long enough for mom to relax and use her Christmas present. Not caring that the intent meant that they were a bother, they happily went off to redeem it yesterday afternoon. It was a nice outing and one that was much appreciated after the busy basketball and holiday weeks.
