Lucy is already tired of trying
Betsy does not wake up easily. Mom has made up many wake-up games and songs and has devised different strategies over the years (see previous posts on this blog and on the old journal). There has been the "Toe-tappin' Puppy" song and the "Name the Skeet Part" game. We've tried dripping water on her face. Nothing works too well. She eventually gets up in the nick of time, but fortunately, she doesn't take long to get ready.
She was especially slow getting up today though, because we're going to clean up the woodpile eyesore...
