Arnie was out antler-hunting Monday evening and stopped by Ralph and Martha Beloat's house to visit a while. Tanner the lab met him at the door and he was a sorry sight. The neighbor's two dogs had gotten hold of him and nearly ripped his left hind quarter off. After a trip to the Evansville Animal Hospital - and several stitches and drainage tubes - he is getting around quite well. The picture of his hind quarter was just too graphic to post here. Poor guy...
