The photo isn't up to good wildlife photography standards, but it shows what we've been seeing down by the creek for a week or so. We've seen up to 50 turkeys at a time in this field and have seen a smaller flock behind the house. It won't be long and they'll be splitting up and starting their spring routine. Since global warming is failing us, we'll settle for some seasonal warming to get them started.

Our Spring Season opens April 10. Took my first 2 Gobblers last year, got the fever now. Haven't seen one strut in the wild yet thats the goal for this year.
ReplyDeleteHi Bill
ReplyDeleteBeen doing it since 1983 - it's about as fun as it gets. If you haven't tried fall hunting yet, it is fun too.
