The sunset reflects on one of the sap jugs
Sugarin' season is coming to a close for 2011. The temperatures have been borderline anyway and now that March is underway, there isn't any more sap running. Dad will spend all spring, summer, and fall improving the evaporator and building a sugar shack for next winter. Skeet is now 13 years old and we hope she is still around for next season. She is slowing down, but still tags along on every sap run.
