Gooseberry curd
The gooseberries are ripe. They're not the easiest things to pick - low to the ground (kneeling) and covered in thorns. We picked a pretty good amount of them off of the five bushes over by the west woods and mom made some gooseberry curd with them. It tasted a whole lot like lemons; it tasted good enough that we've bookmarked the recipe.
