Sweep!

Election night activities were held at Farmer's Daughter restaurant (Toni Pflug & kids in picture)

Dad and Abbey spent election night uptown at the GOP election night celebration, and celebration it was. Although there were difficulties with the voting machines at the courthouse (which delayed final results for a day), it was obvious that all but one county council and commissioner race was going Republican. Then, after the issues were all resolved, that one lone loser became a winner when all of the precincts were done reporting.
Nationally, the GOP pummelled Obama and the Democrats with the biggest swing in the house in over 70 years.

Friend Alan Douglas reacts to vote announcements - he became our new commissioner.
Also pictured are former prosecutor George Ankenbrand and Surveyor Michael Stephenson.
