Jake is a tough nut to crack. He does what Boscoe did when he first came around - he circles and circles, wanting you to pet him, but he can't bring himself to get close enough. Except, about once every two weeks, he will suddenly stop and give up - allowing as much petting as you care to give him. Once you stop though, he won't let you close to him again. He just circles and wags his tail.
