Dad has been bringing home a pickup load of compost every Saturday when he and Skeet haul off the garbage. Above is a photo of a raised bed with a load of compost on top of it. Below is a photo of the brussells sprouts that dad and Abbey planted yesterday. With the high temperature and strong sun that we've had this weekend, we had to bend some woven wire to arch over the plants and then place horseweeds over them for shade. It's a crude set-up, but it works.
