Tough turkey hunting and a barn fire

Garry takes a break on Ralph's north side

With dad's turkey tag already being filled, he tagged along with Garry Russell on an afternoon hunt over on Ralph's north side. There just wasn't much going on, but he did plenty of shooting with his camera. They fought their way through the brush in the recently-logged ravines and hoped to lure a tom over from the surrounding posted property. Not a gobble was heard.
Once the hunt was over, they stopped by Ralph and Martha's house to look at the remains of their large pole barn that had burned earlier. Dad joked that the Nordic Track exercise machine that he had dropped off two hours before the fire was noticed caused it by spontaneously combusting. Actually, the cause was determined to be the breaker box, which was located just inside the wall that dad had placed the nordic track against.
