Front Bed Tulips
Sap season is long past, gardening and turkey season isn't quite here (although the weather makes it feel as if it is), and it's too warm to cut firewood. So, we didn't work too hard this weekend.
Realizing that too many opportunities for relaxation are lost due to the never-ending list of potential chores on the farm, we decided to actually relax some this weekend. Here are a few pictures of a lazy Sunday afternoon on the farm.
The "hayrake bed"
Skeet and Casey lounge while Mom, Betsy, and Lucy swing on the porch
Casey feeling good - or with an itchy back - she does this a lot
Posing for the camera
Skeet pauses from rolling in smelly things
...and then walks toward the camera; all low-level photo sessions with her end with this same pose
And Jake continues his path toward domestication
