Neighbor Jill and Stan Miles wrestle for a spoon during a game of "Spoons"
It turned out that there were more families than us that failed to pre-plan festivities for New Year's Eve. So, dad and Stan Miles decided that the Miles's would bring additional snacks and pop from town and we'd have an impromptu party. When the food was good and hot, and we were settling in to enjoy it, we thought of Neighbor Bill and Neighbor Jill and called them. They arrived shortly and Neighbor Jill brought her repertoire of games.
We spent the evening playing Wits & Wagers and Spoons, and then brought in the new year by watching Bean on Netflix. Surely nobody had more fun than us last night.
