Amy shows off the baby gift after dinner at Puckett's
We all went to Nashville for a weekend birthday trip for Betsy and met up with mom's cousin's son Chad and his wife Amy in Franklin on Friday evening. We had dinner at Puckett's Grocery in Franklin (Chad and Amy's new hometown). Their baby is due in January, so we brought a small gift for the baby and Amy unwrapped it after dinner.
Once we were finished there, we went around the block to the meeting place for "Franklin on Foot" haunted tour. It was a little hokey, but it was something that was out of the ordinary. The tour guide was a little blonde majoring in history at Middle Tennessee State and she did a pretty good job telling the stories of spurned Civil War women and spies and more.
