All of us had a relaxing day at home yesterday (except for Abbey, who was working), and dad decided to go out and bushhog around the pond. He only had one strip to finish when it began sprinkling rain. He got to the bottom of the hill - had it all finished - and began driving back up to the pole barn in the cold wind. He only had a short-sleeve shirt on, so he was beginning to get a little chilled anyway. With about 60 yards to go to get into the barn, the sky opened up and drenched him.
He parked the tractor in the barn and ran for the house as the sun began shining again. Knowing that there would be a good rainbow at that time in the evening, he grabbed the camera and went back outside to snap pictures. The rainbow stretched clear across the horizon and had a reflection, which made it a double rainbow. Unfortunately, he didn't have a wide enough lens to capture the entire length of it.
