City wildlife

A nighthawk is well camouflaged while sitting on two eggs in the Duke Energy parking lot

Dad sent a couple of pictures home from work this week. The first is of a nighthawk nesting in the parking lot at his office and the second is of a long black snake that was crossing the parking lot at the Hampton Inn, also on the west side of town. Just goes to show how adaptable wildlife can be.
