"We don't like this!"
Due to the five gnat-related chicken fatalities in the past two weeks, dad locked all the chickens into the coop and bought a $14 Rural King box fan to move air inside it. The chickens didn't care much for the idea, but had to be relieved not to be shaking their heads constantly. They spent about two weeks in there. When they finally got out yesterday, they obviously weren't used to the light. They sent two scout chickens out to investigate before the entire bunch exited.
