Betsy concentrates on getting the wire hanger just right
Betsy went with dad last night to run the sap. Usually, only Skeet goes with him. There hasn't been a lot of sap this year due to the warm weather, and this latest run hasn't been any different. They only got about eight gallons on that run. Even the tree they call the "big dripper" has quit giving sap already. We're slowly but surely getting enough syrup to give a few pints away and to supply our own needs for the next year.
Now she lifts a bucket into the back of the woodchuck truck
