As is our custom, we did not do anything on New Year's Eve. Instead, we had Carter Blum over for a slumber party. Abbey slept away the entire night because she was sick. All in all, it was a boring night by most peoples' standards, but it was still fun. Everyone but Abbey raced monster trucks on the Wii (hi-tech redneck) and the girls stayed up long after mom and dad went to bed. Dad got up to put another log on the fire around 4am and the girls were still up.
