Abbey's coach is Johnnie Bartley. He was quite a high-jumper in high school and then for Indiana University, having cleared over seven feet. The girls are very thankful to have him. This year has been a real test for him - the injuries, illnesses, and other issues have made it a very frustrating year. Yet, he has quietly bitten his lip and shown a lot of patience. After all that Abbey has been through in her career, she is especially thankful to have him.
