Garden work day

The rain slowed down enough Saturday to allow some tater-digging. While Betsy mowed, mom and dad dug taters and gathered some beans and ameranth seeds. The squash, sweet potatoes, asparagus, rhubarb, and blackberries are really pepping up with all of the new moisture. Time will tell if the rains are enough to save many of the mature trees and perennials.
