The doctor said that Abbey needs another surgery, although a minor surgery at that. One more surgery is too many, no matter how minor. So, taking a play from dad's playbook, she is trying to avoid surgery by building up her leg muscles. So far it's working - her knee isn't bugging her any more.
She and mom rode to Sullivan's Grocery (one of our favorite dives) yesterday for some breakfast. She is riding mom's old bike, but plans are being made to get her a newer and nicer bike. It's good to see her active again.
